Growing up as a proud Air Force brat and raising two daughters with his amazing wife, Ron learned to leave a place better than he found it and that we are all in this together. He brings this sensibility to each engagement to look beyond the bottom line while clarifying, focusing, and driving everyone to get to where we want to go.
Through a remarkably long and varied career at IBM, Ron has participated in, built, and driven many teams delivering the most demanding software in the industry – enterprise-class, mission-critical commercial software relied upon by governments, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, retail, etc. He proved to have a knack for solving the nearly intractable and guiding the launch of industry-changing offerings by taking a holistic approach that accounts for all perspectives and stakeholders. He also launched his own business and mentored several Austin technology startups in recent years. He brings to CTX Capital a focus on helping emerging businesses and their owners achieve success through innovation, transformation, and growth initiatives.
Ron holds a Master of Science in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He earned both at the University of Georgia. Ron serves as executive director for Amphion Choirs and as the Austin/Travis County coordinator for Texas Ramp Project.
